Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday 12:00 am - 5:00 pm

Last tour starts one half hour before closing
School tours & programs and group tours given year-round by appointment.

Via NYS Thruway (I87) (Cars, Buses, Trucks):

Get off at Exit 18 . New Paltz. Take the ramp up to Rte 299 and make a right going east At the end of Rte 299 is a traffic light at the intersection of 299 and Rte 9W. Make a right and go south on Rte 9W. Beyond the first traffic light in the town of Highland (past Burger King), take the ramp for the Mid-Hudson Bridge.
At the end of the bridge, take the first right hand ramp (Hyde Park/Rte 9 North) Follow the ramp around and get onto Rte 9 north. Continue on Rte 9 north through the town of Hyde Park (you will pass the Culinary Institute, FDR Estate) 3.3 miles from the entrance to Vanderbilt Estate, take the left fork onto Old Post Road. Continue on Old Post Road for 1.3 miles to Staatsburgh entrance on your left across from the golf course.

Via Taconic State Parkway (Cars only):

Get off the Parkway onto Rte 55 West toward Poughkeepsie. Continue on Rte. 55 through the City of Poughkeepsie. You will approach the Mid-Hudson Bridge. JUST BEFORE the bridge, take the exit (on right) for Rte 9. Follow ramps around to get onto Rte 9 north.
Continue on Rte 9 north through the town of Hyde Park (you will pass the Culinary Institute, FDR Estate) 3.3 miles from the entrance to Vanderbilt Estate, take the left fork onto Old Post Road. Continue on Old Post Road for 1.3 miles to Staatsburgh entrance on your left across from the golf course.

From Points North



Via NYS Thruway (I87) (Cars, Buses, Trucks):

NYS Thruway south to Exit 19 (Kingston). Take first right onto traffic circle then exit for Rte 28 and Rte 209. Follow signs for Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge take bridge across Hudson.
At 2nd traffic light make a right onto Rte 9G. At 1st traffic light (intersection of 9 & 9G) make a right onto Rte 9 south. After the next light in the center of Rhinebeck (Beekman Arms is on right corner) continue south on Rte 9 for 4.6 miles. Make a right onto Old Post Road and continue for 9/10th of a mile. Entrance to Staatsburgh is on your right across from golf course.

Via Taconic State Parkway (Cars only):

Take exit for Rte 199. At 1st traffic light (Rock City) bear left onto Rte 308. Continue on Rte 308 until you enter the Village of Rhinebeck.
At traffic light (Beekman Arms is on left corner) make a left onto Rte 9 south. Continue south on Rte 9 for 4.6 miles. Make a right onto Old Post Road and continue for 9/10th of a mile. Entrance to Staatsburgh is on your right across from golf course.
